Best Ever Banana Bread Cheesecake Roll

This Banana Bread Cheesecake Roll combines the rich flavors of moist banana bread with a creamy cheesecake filling, all rolled into a delightful dessert. The recipe starts with a homemade banana bread batter, spread thin, baked, and then layered with a smooth, sweet cream cheese mixture. Once rolled up, the cake is chilled, sliced, and served as a perfect fusion of two classic treats.

Ingredients: Cake Batter

  • Ripe Bananas – 02 (Medium Size)
  • Brown Sugar – 80g
  • Caster Sugar – 90g
  • Eggs – 02
  • Melted Butter – 110g
  • Vanilla – 01 tsp
  • All-purpose / Cake Flour – 90g
  • Salt – 01 tsp
  • Baking Soda – 01 tsp

Ingredients:Filling

  • Cream Cheese – 60g
  • Butter – 20g
  • Vanilla – 01 tsp
  • Icing Sugar – 200g

How to cook:

  • To start with the cake batter, mix mashed bananas, caster sugar, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter in a bowl.
  • Once all these ingredients are well mixed, we can add flour, salt, and baking soda.
  • Once the batter is ready, transfer it into a 33cm x 23cm x 4.5cm size baking tray and bake the cake around 15 mins under 180C in a pre-heated oven.
  • After baking, sprinkle some icing sugar on a separate baking sheet and flip the cake over this and slowly remove the baking sheet the cake is baked with.
  • Then, gently roll the cake while it is hot and chill it around 30 mins.
  • To make the filling, beat butter, vanilla, and cream cheese until soft and creamy.
  • Then we can gradually add icing sugar and beat until it reaches our desired consistency.
  • Get the cake out of the fridge, unroll it and spread the prepared filling evenly all over the cake and roll it again.
  • We need to refrigerate this again around 01 hour or until the cake is further set.
