Exploring Fainter Falls, Victoria

Nestled in the Victorian High Country near Falls Creek, Fainter Falls is a breathtaking natural attraction perfect for nature enthusiasts. Accessible via a short, family-friendly hike of about 1.5 km, the walk takes you through lush forested trails to a magnificent multi-tiered waterfall. Along the way, you’ll find two viewing platforms offering spectacular vistas of the cascading falls and the surrounding wilderness.

The trail begins opposite the Fainter Falls car park, located near the Bogong High Plains Road. It's an ideal spot for photography, sightseeing, and enjoying the serene ambiance of the Pretty Valley Stream. The walk is classified as Grade 2, making it suitable for most age groups, including children​
