Zesty Ginger Lemon Salmon
The ultimate easy salmon recipe with a sticky honey-soy glaze.
Ingredients:
- Salmon Fillets: 3 fresh fillets
- Oil: 2 tsp (divided)
- Crushed Garlic: 4–5 cloves
- Crushed Ginger: 1 tsp
- Lemon Juice: Juice of half a small lemon
- Orange Zest: 1 tsp
- Soy Sauce: 2 tbsp
- Honey: 3 tbsp
- Seasoning: Salt and pepper (to taste)
How to Cook:
- Season your salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tsp of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Cook the fillets for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Once finished, transfer the salmon to a plate and set aside.
- In the same pan, heat the remaining 1 tsp of oil. Add the crushed garlic and ginger, sautéing for about a minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the fresh lemon juice, then stir in the orange zest, honey, and soy sauce. Continue to cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens into a rich, sticky glaze.
- Return the salmon fillets to the pan. Cook for a few more minutes, spooning the thick ginger-lemon sauce over the top of the fish to ensure every bite is packed with flavor.
- Garnish as desired and enjoy your delicious, homemade glazed salmon!
